We conduct research in the processing, analysis and applications of satellite remote sensing data (mainly images). This activity will help us to take a place environmental monitoring especially daily monitoring of the regional land/forest fires. Our experience to manage and analyze different image formats, and implementation of combination of open-source, commercial and own coded application into one chained process is good base for that.
Our plan is to add one java applet with pre-prepared pictures for the users (with few basic procedures for image processing) on day by day basis.
