DWD has both, power and knowledge, to calculate UV index for the whole Earth. We recreate the field of distribution of this parameter for the region of South Europe. Ranged as one everyday task, this procedure gives us the idea to combine the recent history and the future into one 2D chart. You can see Interval of UV index calculated for Republic of Macedonia (updating is everyday).
Note: These values are calculated everyday. Value are obtained with our own, automated raster analyzes, in a borders of irregular shape of the country (MK).

The weather - suicide risk indicator

Can the weather play the role of one of the common suicide risk indicators? Our intention is to explore these connections. Our mobile server keeps the weather data in different scales. The monitored region is the Balcans. A report of the project scale (updated every day) is given below. The report is prepared with our own developed automated reporting tool from targeted Excel file with an uploading procedure on our server.
Note: We will work on this issue very carefully and we will not hurry with the results.

We started with monitoring and estimating temperature field and 10 other weather elements in the trans-boundary forest park 'Ohrid-Prespa Lakes'. This will help us calculate lots of additional sub products related to ecological risks.
