Modelling pollution in agricultural regions

Agro modelling test case

We started with usage of  AGNPS model. This model is based on a geographic cell basis used to represent upland and channel conditions. Cells are uniformly square areas subdividing the watersheds, allowing analysis at any point within the watershed. Model components use equations and methodologies that are well established and extensively used by agencies such as the  USDA.

Virtual 3D space

 3D space generators are very useful to present some results in the ambient with nearly natural view and physical characteristics. We choose ray tracing before scan line as a base of 3D rendering. One important thing is ability to create nearly real world, and be capable to fly over.

Few pictures generated as one basic example:

 One existing result is here. On the landscapes based on height fields (credit to Jaime Vives Piqueres) can be placed objects and whole scene is very sensitive on light, and some parameters of the space also can depend of other user needs (clouds, water level, and density of the trees, existence of birds).
